It was hidden in plain sight and I dismissed all the alarms screaming inside me at excruciating levels
My inner voice was being stifled by my refusal to accept the handwriting on the wall
I spent countless hours convincing myself I hadn’t been bamboozled by the three dollar bill parading as c-note
I was committed to moving full speed ahead despite seeing the screaming red lights blaring back at me
It was signaling possible eminent danger ahead yet I brushed it off
My internal GPS was begging me to adhere to the signs
Dead end ahead
This road will soon end
No outlet
Crossroads ahead
Detour at the next exit
Yet I was committed to the fantasy and had lost all sense of reality
My internal GPS screaming “this is your opportunity to choose an alternative route”
Yet I proceeded in-spite of the potential hazard to my world
I was so focused on the outside scenery and neglecting my most prized possession
ME!
I love this! You create so much suspense, leaving the reader wanting more. Bravo!

The words you have spoken and shared are fire and truth for all. We truly are blinded in our way of life, and that brings deception. When the fullness of reality hits, we are traumatized and blame others, when in reality it was our own fault for not truly seeing from within our spirit and hearing with our heart.

It’s only when we become self aware that we’re able to see the red flags. It’s only when we truly love and honor ourselves that we can move beyond the red flags. It’s only when we share our stories that we can change the world because of our red flags. Great writing. Really made me think.
