Trapped

Living in a space between fear and reality
with my inner being at war with my flesh.

The walls of my world are closing in at a rapid pace and all I can see is what could’ve been but what may never be.

Now standing in the midst of this crossroad looking north to south then east to west and being tormented in chaos. 

My tears flow with no end in sight because of the atrocities plaguing those who look like me. 

I’m trapped! TRAPPED in a world of fact and fiction but I’m fighting to believe Equality will equate to Equal and Love will eventually rule as the universal language.

  4. You have taken my feelings and put them into words so eloquently. I’ve struggled to find the correct vernacular to describe what I’m feeling in regards to the injustice, anger, rage and disappointment we’re experiencing right now. 💔

    1. Honestly, it’s been hard for me but I felt it was important to express these thoughts. I believe many people share some of the same thoughts but are fearful to express. We live in a society full of judgement. Writing is my therapy. I thank you for taking time out to read my blog.

  7. As we find out more and more about our history, the cut deepens and just when we think things will get better, BAM!!!

    1. The other day I was out and about and I just stopped and observed interactions and then I could hear “It’s praying time”and It is praying time.

    1. We have the power to shift the atmosphere by knowing and using the word if God. I believe through our prayers and obedience to the word The shift has started and will continue. Equality will come!
