How To Win the Game

Align and Position Yourself With God

The vindictive cycle of strategically planning the demise of another has made the world tone death to God’s call.

Many are conflicted by the raw unexplained emotions trapped inside;

Fighting to get out!

They are unwilling to be vulnerable for fear of being judge because of a mental health diagnosis

Treated as a leper by those who believe it’s a contagious disease.

Our Society has become conditioned by what’s trending

The measuring stick of success is based on a delusional world created by online profiles

Cries for help are ignored or inappropriately labeled.

The hearts of the hurting are being muffled by those with sinister intentions.

The strong must be the safe space for those without an emotional shelter

You are your brother’s and sister’s keeper

The victory will come when we align and position ourselves with God.

After the death of my mother, my passion to write was ignited. It became an encouraging force to others as well as my therapy. Through my healing journey Visionfyah blog was birthed. My vision statement is to be a light in the darkness for the broken, hurting and lonely people unable to deal with life on life’s terms, and to be a voice for those who cannot be heard. Visionfyah is a platform to express thought provoking thoughts and perspectives.

  1. Winning doesn’t always mean the fastest, richest or coolest. We have gotten caught up in comparing ourselves to others but that is so misleading. God says to love others as you love yourself. Look at how you treat others and that will tell you how you really feel about yourself.

    Mental illness until recently was not even talked about out loud. We are finally talking about it. Now we have to keep the communication open and deal with mental illness that plagues most of us. It is not bad to have depression or anxiety. We have to find a way to remove the stigma that comes with having a mental illness. We must have a dialogue and talk about solutions and ways to cope with mental illness, and this needs to happen on a daily basis without judgment.

  2. Excellent read! Mental illness is a disease suffered by many. And it’s also something that needs to be discussed especially in communities that have pushed it under a rug for years. Instead of turning our backs on those who are suffering we should reach out and seek help for those in need. Aligning ourselves with God is the start that will bring on change!
