Unavoidable Heartbreak

The Plot Twist

When we first met we shouted to the world “It would be forever.” We shared our dreams, hopes and visions.

It was our happily ever after

A ring with a promise

It was a forever love

Within our connection birthed an us; One for you and one for me.

A soul tie

We were the perfect combination; with the imperfect lock!

But our happily ever after was created in the Land of Oz. A facade in our minds.

We lacked the ingredients needed for the recipe to our idea of a pie in the sky.

Totally depending on the dysfunction we were taught by our role models

We operated on muscle memory

Negating the reality that a head cannot function properly without being in sync with the neck and heart.

A one sided love

Did we plan to fail?

By building our home on sifting sand

By placing conditions on a promise of unconditional love

By failing to be a safe space for each other from the outside world

PLOT TWIST!

The unavoidable heartbreak ABORTED!!

Our weapon of choice

Ecclesiastes 4:12: Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.

After the death of my mother, my passion to write was ignited. It became an encouraging force to others as well as my therapy. Through my healing journey Visionfyah blog was birthed. My vision statement is to be a light in the darkness for the broken, hurting and lonely people unable to deal with life on life’s terms, and to be a voice for those who cannot be heard. Visionfyah is a platform to express thought provoking thoughts and perspectives.
