Armor Up
It happens in the mind
The covert operation
Thoughts fluctuating from plain sight to stealth 
Provoking uncontrollable explosive reactions
Contemplating making today the last day or fighting as if you have everything to live for
Desperately needing to be surrounded by people or the strong urge to be isolated from those who are emotionally unavailable 
The war raging is so massive it challenges your character of who you want to be 
to displaying who you are at this very minute 
The forced clown smiles to make those around you feel comfortable
Yet your insides are crumbling like boulders being shook by the shift in the earth
Wanting to open up to share your thoughts but silenced by the very ones who say they want to know 
Yet judge you with their eyes and condemn with their secret conversations 
You sleep hoping to drown out the screams of your inner being
Wanting to numb the hurt of disappointment
You fight to stay awake to escape your dreams or nightmares which immediately switch on in cinematic viewing when you close eyes
You ask yourself how do you silence the antagonism of voices without faces or the whispering in your ears
How do press on when you are suffocating in your thoughts and your vision is impaired causing you to misread the movements of others.
How do you hold your head up and stand when you feel your knees buckling as the weight of bad decisions are holding you down
The mind is the most lethal weapon we possess however it can not operate alone
You see the mind does not exist without the brain
And the brain cannot function without the mind
They are inseparable
In order to win the war you must fight the fight
