All of Me

Allowing you into my secret place

I bared my soul

Giving you full access to of all of me

Allowing no room for hidden places

Letting down the invisible fortified walls which encompassed me

I granted you unlimited access to my soul

Trusting you with my most intimate thoughts

The walls I built out of abandonment

Destroyed!

The walls I built out of hurt

Destroyed!

The walls I built out of shame

Destroyed!

The walls I built out of rejection

Destroyed!

No longer am I held captive by own imagination

You allowed me to open the gates of my dam and it surrendered a safe passage

I am free to love and to be loved

The fragmented pieces of my life are no longer a puzzle

But an authentic masterpiece of me
