THE RELEASE

Are You Free Too Live Free?

I was on pressure cook degrees

My insides pregnant with despair

I knew at some point my healing depended on a RELEASE!

The more I concealed the torture

I could hear my hope screaming HELP!

My visions were shouting LIVE!

My dreams were echoing SAVE ME!

My mission was screening RELEASE!

This internal war of shame and despair was was holding me hostage.

The ransom required was a RELEASE!

Release of disappointment

Release of unresolved hurt

Release of childhood trauma

Release of my grief stricken heart

Release of my best kept secrets

I no longer wanted to be emotionally bankrupt!

Today I begin Life with a Clean Slate!

I RELEASED!!!

  3. Thank you Z for highlighting this topic! I know first hand that as we continue to practice releasing emotions (secrets, past trauma) we become more confident at dealing with stresses, traumas and healing old wounds.

  8. Amazing as usual… beautiful words as we all at some point need to “release” ourselves from so much that burdens us. You are always awesome with the words.
